The mission of the MRCT Center at Harvard is to improve the design, conduct, and oversight of multi-regional clinical trials, especially trials sited in or involving the developing world; to simplify research through the use of best practices; and to foster respect for research participants, efficacy, safety and fairness in transnational, trans-cultural human subject research. The Harvard Global Health Institute serves as the administrative home for the Multi-Regional Clinical Trials (MRCT) Center.

This dynamic role of Program Manager at the MRCT center at Harvard will:

  • Oversee the external and internal communications activities of the MRCT center including email, presentations, newsletter, website and minutes. 

  • Provide strategic leadership for communications including building awareness of MRCT priorities among stakeholders. 

  • Develop and provide outreach materials and website content for potential sponsors and stakeholders. 

  • Provide support for high-level, high visibility events and conferences sponsored by the center through planning and execution of events. 

  • Provide project management support for workgroups including facilitating teleconferences and meetings as required 

  • Draft documents for MRCT workgroups including minutes and summaries of output documents 

  • Develop fact sheets, talking points, and presentations for organization leadership. 

  • Liaise with partner organizations and like-minded clinical consortia to identify collaboration activities
