The University of Ottawa offers a Ph.D. in Law, a Master of Laws with Thesis, or a Master of Laws with Research Paper. Students who pursue the LL.M. with Research Paper can obtain a designated Concentration in Health Law, Policy and Ethics. Students also have the option of completing the LL.M. on a part-time basis.

Our graduates pursue a wide variety of careers— in academia, provincial and federal government departments and agencies, NGOs and international organizations, private sector companies, private practice, regulatory Colleges, health professional associations, hospital associations, and liability insurers. Many of these health organizations are headquartered in Ottawa, giving our graduate students the unique opportunity to influence policy by presenting their work directly to stakeholders, and to network with potential employers at the Centre's many events.
