President’s Innovation Challenge
Harvard Innovation Lab
Deadline: December 5, 2016
We are pleased to announce the sixth annual President's Innovation Challenge for entrepreneurship. Hosted by the Harvard Innovation Labs, the Challenge amplifies the creativity, diversity, and ingenuity of our community by supporting and advancing imaginative ideas. Each year, we encourage students and postdoctoral fellows from across all Harvard’s Schools to think deeply about the most pressing challenges of our time. How might humanity surmount them with the help of knowledge generated at Harvard?
During the fall, the i-lab will host workshops and networking events to support Challenge participants across three different tracks, and fifteen finalist teams will be selected in the spring to participate in entrepreneur-focused programming. A $75,000 winner and a $25,000 runner-up from each track will be announced at Challenge Demo Day in April.
We hope you will consider attending the Challenge Kickoff Celebration at the i-lab on Thursday, October 13, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., to learn more about the challenges, hear about the experiences of previous winners, and network with like-minded individuals. Keynote speaker David Perry, M.B.A ’97, will share his journey as a serial entrepreneur and CEO of Indigo.
The past five cycles of the Challenge have brought people from across the University together in ways that have illuminated the remarkable talents of our community. We are excited to see how you use this opportunity to think about your work—and work to change the world.
