Apply to be a part of the PRIM&R Blog Squad!

Are you a PRIM&R member who enjoys writing? We want to hear from you!

To help document the 2016 AER Conference, we are accepting applications for the PRIM&R Blog Squad, a team of dedicated writers who help cover PRIM&R’s conferences from start to finish, before and after an event. 

Members selected to join the Blog Squad at the 2016 AER Conference will receive complimentary registration to the conference and a pre-conference program. They will also have an opportunity to showcase their work on our blog, Ampersand. Members will post reflections and other musings about conference speakers and special events and will be responsible for writing five to six posts. 

Please note that all posts will be subject to PRIM&R staff edits to ensure consistency with the organization’s mission and style. 


We seek motivated, professional PRIM&R members who demonstrate/possess:

  • An interest in writing about ethical issues in research

  • Strong writing skills

  • Ability to meet deadlines

  • Availability to attend the entire conference, including a pre-conference program

  • A knack for creativity and positive thinking

The application period for the PRIM&R Blog Squad at the 2016 AER Conference opens on June 2.

To apply for the PRIM&R Blog Squad, please complete the application and submit it along with a statement of purpose, introductory blog, and brief biography to Kelly Whelan, marketing coordinator, via email.
