With most of the changes to the Federal Policy for the Protection of Human Subjects (the “Common Rule”) scheduled to come into effect in early 2019, this symposium provides a timely opportunity for stakeholders to consider the implications of the revised Common Rule for their policies and practices. Speakers include leaders from government, academia, and research organizations, who will critically assess the revisions from practical, bioethical, and public policy perspectives.
