Research Assistant, International Health and Drug Law

The MRCT Center of BWH and Harvard is seeking one or two research assistants for the Multi-Regional Clinical Trials Center. The Center is part of the Division of Global Health Equity.
Work would be legal and policy research in international public health and drug safety/clinical trials regulations, and require approximately 10-20 hours per week for the Spring, with possible continuation through the summer 2017 on a more full-time basis. The Research assistant will work closely with the team at the MRCT Center including the Faculty co-chairs Barbara Bierer and Mark Barnes, the Executive Director Rebecca Li and the project teams.
Topics of research include clinical trial and drug approval process regulatory reforms in China and India, as well as solutions for public access to clinical trials data. Compensation is $15/hour, and work schedules are flexible but are required to be in the office. Fluency in Mandarin a plus.
Participation as co-author in journal publications may be possible, dependent on an appropriate level of involvement. Interviews to be conducted in the next two weeks.
