Nicholas J. Diamond is an advisor and educator, focused on the intersection of public health, policy, and ethics. He works at an advisory firm in Washington, DC, where he helps biopharmaceutical companies, health insurers, and advocacy organizations better understand and respond to changes in the healthcare landscape.

Nir Eyal is an Associate Professor of Global Health and Population at the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health.

Robert I. Field holds a joint appointment as professor of law at the School of Law and professor of health management and policy at the School of Public Health at Drexel University. He is also a lecturer in health care management at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a senior fellow of Penn’s Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics.

Dov Fox is the Director of the Center for Health Policy and a Professor of Law at the University of San Diego Law School. He was previously an Academic Fellow at Georgetown University Law Center, a Lecturer in Politics and Philosophy while a Rhodes Scholar at the University of Oxford, and a law clerk for Judge Stephen Reinhardt of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Leslie P. Francis holds joint appointments at the University of Utah as Alfred C. Emery distinguished professor of law and distinguished professor of philosophy, and adjunct appointments in Family and Preventive Medicine (in the Division of Public Health), Internal Medicine (in the Division of Medical Ethics), and Political Science. Since 2012, she has also served the College of Law as Associate Dean for Faculty Research and Development. She is a contributing editor at the HealthLawProfs blog.

Michele Bratcher Goodwin is the Chancellor’s Professor at the University of California, Irvine with appointments at the School of Law; Program in Public Health; Department of Criminology, Law, & Society; Department of Gender and Sexuality Studies; and Stem Cell Research Center. She is the founder and director of the Center for Biotechnology and Global Health Policy at UC Irvine School of Law and its internationally acclaimed Reproductive Justice Initiative.

Dr. Leslie C. Griffin is the William S. Boyd Professor of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, William S. Boyd School of Law. She holds a Ph.D. in Religious Studies from Yale University and a J.D. from Stanford Law School.

B. Jessie Hill is is the Judge Ben C. Green Professor of Law and Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at Case Western Reserve University School of Law. She teaches and writes in the fields of constitutional law, health law, and law and religion.

Allison Hoffman is an occasional contributor. She is a Professor of Law at the UCLA School of Law Professor Hoffman’s work examines some of the most important legal and social issues of our time, including the Affordable Care Act, Medicare and retiree healthcare expenses, and long-term care. She is a former Petrie-Flom Center Academic Fellow.

Aaron S. Kesselheim is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and a faculty member in the Division of Pharmacoepidemiology and Pharmaco-economics in the Department of Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH). Within the Division, Aaron leads the Program On Regulation, Therapeutics, And Law (PORTAL).

Joan H. Krause is the Dan K. Moore Distinguished Professor of Law at the University of North Carolina School of Law, a Professor at the UNC School of Medicine, and Adjunct Professor at the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health.

James Love is the Director of Knowledge Ecology International, where his research focuses on the production, management and access to knowledge resources, and aspects of competition policy. This includes work on the financing of R&D, intellectual property rights, prices for and access to new drugs, vaccines and other medical technologies, as well as related topics for other knowledge goods, including software, other copyrighted works, and data.

Holly Lynch is Assistant Professor and Assistant Faculty Director of Online Education in the Department of Medical Ethics and Health Policy at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine. From 2012 – 2017 she was the Executive Director of the Petrie-Flom Center and together with Faculty Director I. Glenn Cohen co-founded Bill of Health in 2012.

Timo Minssen is Professor of IP & Innovation Law at the University of Copenhagen (UCPH), Centre for Information & Innovation Law (CIIR), Denmark. He was a Visiting Scholar at the Petrie-Flom Center in Spring 2014.

Wendy Netter Epstein is a Visiting Associate Professor at the University Chicago Law School, and an Associate Professor of Law and Faculty Director of the Jaharis Health Law Institute at the DePaul University College of Law. She is a graduate of Harvard Law School, where she was editor-in-chief of the Journal of Law, Medicine & Ethics, Recent Developments.

David Orentlicher s the Cobeaga Law Firm Professor of Law and co-director of the UNLV Health Law Program at UNLV William S. Boyd School of Law.

Anthony W. Orlando is an Assistant Lecturer in the Sol Price School of Public Policy at the University of Southern California, where he is completing his PhD in Public Policy and Management. He received his bachelor’s degree in economics from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, as well as a master’s in economic history from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
