We are pleased to announce that Petrie-Flom Center Academic Fellow Alumnus W. Nicholson Price II has been appointed an Assistant Professor at the University of Michigan School of Law. Nicholson is currently an Assistant Professor of Law at the University of New Hampshire School of Law. He will continue his work on innovation in the life sciences and will teach Patents, Health Law, and first-year Property, among other courses. In his two years at the Petrie-Flom Center, Nicholson studied personalized medicine, the return of results in genomic research, and pharmaceutical industry innovation. His work has been published in Nature, Science, Nature Biotechnology, the New England Journal of Medicine, the Iowa Law Review, the Harvard Journal of Law and Technology, the Boston College Law Review, and the Hastings Center Report, among others; forthcoming articles will appear in the Washington Law Review and the Michigan Telecommunications and Technology Law Review. This semester, he will give invited talks at Harvard, Yale, Stanford, the University of Michigan, Northwestern, George Washington, Vanderbilt, and the University of Copenhagen, among others. Nicholson will remain a Faculty Affiliate of the Petrie-Flom Center.
