General Description

The Perini Family Survivorship Center at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute invites members of the DF/HCC and Harvard Medical community to apply for a two year Fellowship in Cancer Survivorship Research. Applicants from a diverse range of fields including medicine, epidemiology, psychology, public health and potentially others will be considered. Fellows will receive part time salary support and administrative resources to help them apply their research skills to questions relevant to cancer survivors. Fellows will plan and implement new research studies, collaborate with center faculty on existing studies of cancer survivors and apply for external funding. Applicants may be at any academic level, but mid career and established researchers whose area of expertise can be expanded to survivorship are particularly encouraged. Past fellows have developed research in behavioral health, sexual health, infertility, health services, sleep medicine, cardiac outcomes nd bone health. Applicants with background in intervention research, health informatics, health services research, and other areas of expertise with potential for innovative application to cancer survivorship are especially encouraged. We anticipate funding will be available to support a .20 to .5 FTE position depending on rank and experience. Fellowship period can begin 7/2018 or 9/2018.
