Scope of position:  Under the direction of Dr. Francis Shen, JD, PhD, the Executive Director of the MGH Center for Law, Brain, and Behavior (CLBB), the research assistant will conduct research related to exciting Center initiatives concerning the developing brain, the aging brain, trauma, memory, and many additional topics.

The CLBB aims to accelerate system-wide norm changes in the legal system through the integration of applied neuroscience knowledge. The CLBB is entering into an exciting phase of expansion, and the Research Assistants will be expected to contribute to the Center’s mission by supporting the Center Directors in all Center-related matters. Duties vary considerably, but illustrative examples of likely tasks include assisting in: scientific and legal literature reviews; drafting of legal and scientific briefs; grant writing; conference and meeting coordination; web content updating; and other duties as assigned.
