We’re excited to introduce and welcome Dov Fox to our blogging community as a regular contributor.
Dov is a Professor of Law and Director of the Center for Health Law Policy & Bioethics at the University of San Diego School of Law. He has published and lectured widely on legal topics in torts, criminal justice, anti-discrimination law, reproductive rights, neuroscience, and bioethics. Dov has served as a Lecturer in Politics and Philosophy while a Rhodes Scholar at the University of Oxford and as a law clerk for Judge Stephen Reinhardt of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He has also worked at McKinsey & Company in Boston, Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz in New York, and the Civil Appellate Staff of the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. Dov holds a B.A. from Harvard, a D.Phil. from Oxford, and a J.D. from Yale, where he was twice recognized for teaching excellence and three times awarded the faculty prize for the best student paper in law and science.
He has several articles and book chapters forthcoming. Those already in print have appeared in law journals including the Yale Law Journal, Utah Law Review, Akron Law Review, Michigan State Law Review, the American Criminal Law Review, the American Journal of Law & Medicine, and the Yale Journal of Health Policy, Law & Ethics; peer-reviewed journals including Ratio, The Review of Politics, The Journal of Applied Philosophy, Bioethics, The American Journal of Bioethics, The Journal of Medical Ethics, The Hastings Center Report, and The Journal of Medicine, Ethics & Law, and popular media such as The Huffington Post.
