According to the article, the system has been effective in Canada and the results in America are promising as well.
- The Charina Endowment Fund as well as Richard L. (MBA ’59) and Ronay Menschel of New York City have donated $12.5 million to the Harvard School of Public Health in order to redesign the school’s educational strategy. The Transforming Public Health Initiative Fund was formally announced on Wednesday.
- According to a recently released UN report, the world must renew its commitment to increasing aid and reaching a trade deal in order to facilitate progress on the Millennium Development Goals. The report precedes next week’s special session on the UN and the post-2015 MDG era.

According to the New York Times, many agree that there is a need to give mental health providers resources to treat dangerous people, especially in light of recent events.
