2016 Petrie-Flom Center Annual Open House

This is a past event

At this event, faculty, colleagues, and students with shared interests in health law policy, biotechnology, and bioethics learned about what the Petrie-Flom Center does and how people can get involved. Faculty Director I. Glenn Cohen reviewed our sponsored research portfolio, introduced our staff and fellows, and described various opportunities for students and others. In addition, our partners at the Center for Bioethics at Harvard Medical School and the Center for Law, Brain & Behavior at Massachusetts General Hospital spoke about their programs and activities, including the Master of Bioethics program in the Center for Bioethics at Harvard Medical School. And of course, we ate, drank, and made merry!

The Open House reception immediately followed the panel discussion “Battling Blood in the Streets: How Can Neuroscience Foster Violence Prevention and Promote Public Health?”

This event was free and open to the public.

Sponsored by the Petrie-Flom Center for Health Law Policy, Biotechnology, and Bioethics at Harvard Law School and the Center for Bioethics at Harvard Medical School, with support from the Oswald DeN. Cammann Fund.
