Description

At this reception, we welcomed faculty, colleagues, and students with shared interests in health law policy, biotechnology, and bioethics, and discussed what the Petrie-Flom Center does and how to get involved. Faculty Director I. Glenn Cohen and Executive Director Carmel Shachar discussed ongoing sponsored research projects, introduced our staff and fellows, and described various opportunities for students and others to get involved with the Center. They also discussed the Center's work with partners around Harvard University, including the Center for Bioethics at Harvard Medical School.

This event was free and open to the public.

The Open House reception immediately followed a panel discussion on Dov Fox's new book Birth Rights and Wrongs: How Medicine and Technology are Remaking Reproduction and the Law. Learn more about the panel!

Sponsored by the Petrie-Flom Center for Health Law Policy, Biotechnology, and Bioethics at Harvard Law School and the Center for Bioethics at Harvard Medical School, with support from the Oswald DeN. Cammann Fund at Harvard University.
