Each year, and sometimes more frequently, the Petrie-Flom Center hosts a major academic conference that leads to publication of an edited volume by a leading university press. On each occasion, the conferences and subsequent edited volumes are on a different topic at the intersection of health law policy, biotechnology, and bioethics, with contributions from scholars, practitioners, and policymakers across the country and around the world. The Center’s volumes to date are listed below. In addition, look out for these forthcoming titles:
Specimen Science: Ethics and Policy Implications, MIT Press (forthcoming 2017)
Law, Religion, and Health in the United States, Cambridge University Press (forthcoming 2017)
If you are interested in participating in an edited volume stemming from one of the Center’s annual conferences, please stay tuned for our calls for abstracts, generally released in the early Fall for a conference held in the late Spring the following year.
