Gian Luca Burci is an Adjunct Professor of International Law at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva. Gian Luca has 30 years of experience as a legal adviser in UN-system organizations. He has served as the former Legal Counsel of the World Health Organization. Throughout his career, he has specialized in global health law and governance and law of international organizations.  He is the main author of an English monograph on the WHO and co-editor of the first handbook on global health law.
