Adrienne R. Ghorashi, Esq. is a Lead Law and Policy Analyst at Temple University’s Center for Public Health Law Research, where she leads multidisciplinary legal epidemiology studies tracking and evaluating the public health impact of laws. She is an attorney, academic researcher, and social justice activist. Her expertise is in sexual and reproductive health laws, with a focus on US and global abortion access. Her work also includes intersecting issues of health and equity, such as housing inequality, healthcare access, criminalization, and immigrants’ rights. She maintains annual updates to the Center’s State Abortion Laws database and is an expert on the rapidly shifting legal landscape of abortion regulation. Adrienne is a Society of Family Planning (SFP) Changemakers in Family Planning grantee and currently serves as co-chair of APHA’s Abortion Task Force. Her policy research and commentary has appeared in various peer-reviewed journals, conferences, blogs, and the media.
