Event Description

Join us to reflect on a turbulent, world-changing year with an esteemed panel of experts. COVID-19, political unrest, and a societal reckoning all contributed to “the year everything changed,” according to author Eric Klinenberg. “Societies have a way of revealing themselves during crises,” he writes in his book 2020. “Who we are. What we value. How we trust each other and our government.”

2020 Author Eric Klinenberg will be joined by discussants Dr. Rochelle Walensky, Professor I. Glenn Cohen, and Professor Jeannie Suk Gersen.

Please Note

This event is open to HUID holders only. Please RSVP to receive the location, which will be sent via email prior to the event. For those who cannot attend in person, the event will be recorded and accessible on the Petrie-Flom YouTube channel following the event.
