Beatrice (Bea) Brown is currently a graduate student in the Master of Bioethics program at Harvard Medical School. She received her BA in Ethics, Politics, & Economics (cum laude, with distinction in the major) from Yale University. Her undergraduate thesis conducted a moral philosophical analysis of the blameworthiness of bystanders during the Holocaust. She is particularly interested in the moral and legal issues surrounding various topics in bioethics, including end-of-life care, informed consent, and reproductive rights. After completing her Master of Bioethics degree, Bea plans to attend law school to apply her knowledge of bioethics to health law and policy.
