Juan Cruz Goñi is a Lecturer and Researcher at the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences at the National University of Comahue (Argentina) and a Doctoral Fellow at the National Scientific and Technical Research Council (CONICET). He holds a law degree with a postgraduate specialization in Criminal Law at the National University of Comahue, a Master’s degree in Criminology (National University of Litoral), and a PhD in Human Rights (National University of Lanús). He is also pursuing a PhD in Social Sciences (University of Buenos Aires in cotutorship agreement with Université Paris Cité). From 2011 to 2020, he worked as a Trial Attorney and legal advisor for victims and human rights organizations at the Asamblea por los Derechos Humanos de Neuquén (APDH-Neuquén) and the Centro de Estudios Legales y Sociales (CELS). Between 2021 and 2022, he served as legal advisor to both the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Women, Gender, and Diversity of the Argentine government. JCG is currently a researcher working in the areas of neoliberalism, authoritharianism, democracy and human rights.
